Why watercolour is such a magical material to work with? It can free the fear and bring us in the flow very fast. It’s liberating! The intention is to be guided by the intelligence of water and to find the FLOW in the process

In Japanese, “Sumi” means “black ink”, and “e” means painting.The philosophy behind minimalism in Sumi-e is deeply rooted in Zen Buddhism. Zen emphasizes the importance of living in the present moment and finding beauty in simplicity.The goal of ink painting is not to reproduce the appearance of the subject, but instead to capture its energy.

The goal of this workshop is to become friends with the drawing process.
